Gurugram: SGT University has been rated as ‘Gold’ level by QS India.This level has been decided by Quacquarelli Symonds in its annual publication of university rankings- ‘QS World University Ratings.’ Director of IQAC (SGT University) Dr T. D Dogra received the honour of Gold level in a programme organised in Delhi.
On this occasion Dr Dogra said “I am delighted to share about SGT University achieving this coveted Gold Rating in the QS I Gauge rating. It is a major milestone for the university which is the result of rigorous efforts and perseverance of the faculty, staff, students and alumni. Our focus now is to figure within top 200 in QS World Ratings within the next 3 years.”
Underlining the features of SGT University he said,” With world class infrastructure, excellent faculty ratio, international collaboration, active industry partnership, a strong alumni base and ever growing research capability, Team SGT is most certain of achieving this humungous milestone”.
Dr Dogra, said,“The whole process of data collection and compilation from 17 different faculties of SGT University was very exhaustive and took about 4 months to complete. All the data was supported with verifiable documents, certificates, photographs & Videos.”
SGT University being only five years old is the youngest University to be awarded Gold rating.
The QS system comprises the global overall and subject rankings (which name the world’s top universities for the study of 48 different subjects and five composite faculty areas), alongside five independent regional tables (Asia, Latin America, Emerging Europe and Central Asia, the Arab Region, and BRICS).

Each rating produced is strictly monitored for quality control by the QS Intelligence Unit in London which produces the widely popular QS World University Ratings.
