Haryana Education Minister Mr. Kanwar Pal informed that on the occasion of the 70th birth anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution, the State Government will be launching a special campaign in the college and Universities in which the youth will be made aware about the Fundamental Duties.

He said that the campaign will run for about four and a half months.
He informed that the Constitution of India was adopted on November 26, 1949 and it was implemented on January 26, 1950 and therefore November 26 is celebrated as the ‘Constitution Day’ every year.
He said that on this day the valuable contributions made by Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar and other scholars are remembered. He said that this year, the country will be celebrating 70th anniversary of the adoption of the constitution and the government has decided to launch a national level campaign to make the youth aware of the ‘fundamental duties’, an important component of the constitution.
The campaign will start from November 26, 2019 till Dr. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary which falls on April 14, 2020 and is celebrated as ‘Harmony Day’.
Education Minister Mr Kanwar Pal further informed that during the awareness campaign, many programs will be organized in the universities and colleges of the State regarding the ‘Fundamental Duties’ of the Constitution.
He informed that lectures on ‘Fundamental Duties’ will be held on November 26, 2019 in educational institutions of Higher Education Department. Apart from this there will be debate program on ‘Rights and Duties’ and on January 25, 2020 and staff and students will be resolved to perform fundamental duties on January 26, 2020. Documentary movies on the main articles of the constitution and street play have also been planned.
