Book Review: Petit à Petit Little by Little

My Take

First of all, I will talk about it’s beautiful and intriguing cover. It’s so beautiful & fetching.
Petit à Petit is a collection of simple and inspiring poetry that motivates one to dream and change the narrative of their lives.

The poems are divided into five sections, namely, ‘Petit à Petit’ , ‘ The Magic That You Hold’ , ‘ Look Within’ ,’ Bloom ‘ & ‘ Dream on ‘. Each section contains poem with different themes. Few of the themes are self-love, self-confidence, dreams , love & taking life into your own hands.

My Ratings: ☆☆☆☆

The poems are mostly cheerful and full of hope. While few talks about the beauty of life, few poems talks about dreams and goals. The illustrations used all through the book really adds to the beauty of poems. It’s a soul searching and soul-soothing at the same time. I read and re-read a few poems just to make it sink in. The language is flawless and flowery. The rhythm pattern is mostly free, while some poems follow the meter pattern.
It’s a beautiful read!
