The Parliament protest march of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students has been registered against the fee hike.

Around two to three thousand students have taken out this protest march shouting anti-NAMO slogans. Much Pro-Modi media personnel was also not allowed by the JNU students to cover their Protest march.

Students broke the three barricades installed at the JNU gate. After this, after nearly two hours of struggle, the students also broke the barricade of Ber Sarai. After this, the students’ march has reached Bhikaji Cama Place Flyover.

Former JNU Students’ Union president N Sai Balaji said, “Delhi Police stops JNU students peaceful march to parliamentarians! The MHRD is fooling students by forming the committee. Why didn’t the committee suspend fee hike till dialogue is happening? We are demanding a rollback of the fee hike.”

After two hours of struggle, the students have broken the barricade at Ber Sarai adjacent to JNU Campus. However, more than 200 students were taken into custody during this period.

Earlier this day, the HRD Ministry urgently appointed a three-member High Power committee to recommend the perfect ways to get out of this relentless protest to restore the normal situation of the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
