The world famous, American Space Agency NASA (National Aeronautic and Space Administration)  soon will try to locate the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) today. It is reported that today it will pass adjacent to the landing site. In such a positive situation, LRO will have a chance to contact this lander.

Noa Petro, the scientist at NASA’s LRO project, informed that Vikram Lander will pass near by landing  site on Tuesday.

NASA’s LRO will also send some Photographs to Indian space Scientists. With these photographs, ISRO can able to get some important information about the current situation of Vikram Lander. It’s important to know that only 5 days are left with ISRO to contact Vikram Lander to be landed on the south pole of the moon. Actually, the life span of a closed ignition rover inside this lander is one lunar day i.e. 14 days.

On 7 September, Vikram lander lost contact during an attempted soft landing by ISRO Scientists on the lunar surface. Now both ISRO and NASA are  also jointly trying to contact with Vikram lander by their respective scientific ways.

However, ISRO has also pinpointed the location of the Vikram lander, but unfortunately, it has not been able to establish contact. After finding the location, ISRO has also not released any picture of Vikram lander.

However, the space agency had informed that Chandrayaan 2’s orbiter had taken a thermal picture of the Vikram lander.

ISRO Chief K Sivan has also urged that the agency will keep trying it’s best to have an urgent communication with the Vikram lander till the last moment.
