Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has announced to give financial assistance

Chandigarh, Oct 29 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal has announced to give financial assistance of Rs two lakh each to about 40 registered organisations  working for the welfare of Dhanak Samaj.
The Chief Minister made this announcement while interacting with representatives of Dhanak Samaj, who called on him, here today.
Mr. Manohar Lal said that a committee should be constituted to explore the possibilities of setting up the traditional work of cloth weaving by imparting training to youth with the use of machinery. He suggested the representatives to prepare a proposal in this regard and send it to the government. He said that  relevant course of cloth weaving would be included in the Skill University and youth would be trained in this course which would make them employable and they would also be able to set up their own ventures.
He said that the State Government has implemented several welfare oriented schemes for the people. For making people aware of such schemes, the State Government has opened Antyodaya Sewa Kendras in seven districts where information regarding all welfare schemes was being provided to people under one roof. He suggested the representatives to organise one function each at these Antyodaya Sewa Kendras so that people would become aware of these kendras.
The Chief Minister inquired the representatives whether they have been availing the benefits of welfare schemes or not. The representatives replied that they have been availing full benefits of all schemes. He said, “If they face any problem then they could inform him in writing. Their all issues would be got resolved”, he added.
The representatives of Dhanak Samaj expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister for inviting them. The representatives said that this was for the first time that a Chief Minister has invited them, listened to their grievances and took their suggestions which clearly signify the vision of ‘Sakba Sath Sabka Vikas’ of the Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal.
