Having No Voter ID Card Should Vote Like this

Polling for the Haryana Assembly elections will be held in the four assembly constituencies of the district on October 21 from 7 am to 6 pm.

The voter ID card has been issued by the commission for voting, but if any voter does not have an Epic card, then for his convenience, the commission has approved 11 options of other identity cards to practice the franchise.

District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Amit Khatri informed that on the day of polling, the voter will have to show a photo identity card as per the instructions of the Election Commission in order to cast their respective votes.

He suggested that in the absence of Voter ID Card, the photo identity card issued by other concerned government authorities like passport, driving license and ID card issued by the state government or public undertakings ,public limited companies having the photo graphs including Photographed passbook issued by bank or post office, PAN card, Aadhaar card, job card, smart card issued by RGI under MPR, health insurance card issued under the scheme of Ministry of Labor, photo pension documents or Identity issued by MP, MLA or  Member of Legislative Council can be used to caste the valuable votes of voters.
