The ICC has unearthed this ruling against Bangladeshi Cricket captain Shakib for not being informed about being contacted for match-fixing.
Bangladesh cricket team’s star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been banned for two years by the International Cricket Council(ICC).
Shakib is the captain of the Bangladesh T20 and Test team. He has to travel to India for the upcoming three T20 series and two Test matches to be held in the National Capital of India.
The ICC prohibited him even from practicing with the team.
The ICC has informed on Twitter that it has been decided to impose a two-year ban on the world’s number one ODI all-rounder and the Bangladeshi T20 captain.
The ICC has banned Shakib from playing all types of national and international cricket matches.
Shakib has admitted for violating the ICC’s Anti Corruption Code on three occasions. The ICC has given detailed information about all these three occasions.
Shakib failed to provide complete information about his contact with the Anti Corruption Unit of ICC.
