Manohar Lal Khattar sworn in as the CM of Haryana for second time : Dushyant took oath as the Deputy CM

Manohar Lal Khattar has created history by taking oath as the Chief Minister of Haryana for the second time in a row. He is the second and first non-Jat leader to achieve this. Khattar took the oath of office and secrecy as the Chief Minister. After him, Jannayak Janta Party President Dushyant Chautala was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister.

JJP Supremo Dushyant Chautala has sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister. In this way, only CM and Deputy CM have taken oath in today’s oath-taking ceremony. Although earlier cabinet ministers were also expected to be sworn in, eventually it did not happen.

 An interesting scene has come out from the swearing-in ceremony. Ajay Chautala, father of JJP leader Dushyant Chautala was also present on the stage. Ajay Chautala has come out of Tihar jail this morning on 2-week Furlough.

.Akali Dal leaders Parkash Singh Badal and Sukhbir Singh Badal had also arrived at the oath-taking ceremony of Manohar Lal Khattar. Interestingly, during the election, Sukhbir Badal was campaigning relentlessly against Khattar.


Anil Vij, Ghanshyam Saraf, Sandeep Singh, Abhay Singh Yadav, Subhash Sudha, Seema Trikha, Kanwarpal Gurjar are in this race of new ministerial portfolio in this new government of Haryana. Besides, the names of Dhir Singla, Narendra Gupta, Dr. Kamal Gupta, Gyan Chand Gupta, and Deepak Mangla are also other probable Ministers in Haryana’s new cabinet.

In Haryana, all Jat leaders like Subhash Barala, Captain Abhimanyu and Om Prakash Dhankhar who were ministers in the previous cabinet have lost in 2019’s Assembly elections. In such a situation, Jat faces like Mahipal Dhanda, Kamlesh Dhanda, JP Dalal and Praveen Dagar who have won this election may get a chance in the new cabinet of Haryana Assembly. It would be a compulsion to make one of these new faces to balance the jat politics in the state.


As many as 13 ministers may be appointed in Manohar’s new cabinet according to sources and out of which 2 ministers may be included from JJP. Along with the veteran like Anil Vij and some other young faces may also get a chance.

 Dushyant Chautala, son of convicted Ajay Chautala is now to the deputy CM of Haryana. Ajay Chautala was convicted and also was sentenced to jail for ten years in a much sensational teacher recruitment case.
