It has been mentioned in the article  on January 7 that Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, his 13-year-old son Aarav and Kangana Ranaut appeared with Modi on INS-Sumitra in the newspapers on January 7. PM Modi had seen Arv’s ears pulled in it being the part of the International Fleet Review (IFR) at Visakhapatnam. In this Fleet Review, 99 ships, 24 foreign warships and 4000 marines from 50 countries participated. It was India’s largest military exercise. In which the stars of Bollywood also were present. The event was also attended by then President Pranab Mukherjee. Akshay Kumar’s family and Kangana attended the inaugural program. The next day Akshay Kumar was present in the INS Sumitra along with other VVIPs. At the same time PM Modi had drawn the ear of Akshay Kumar’s son.

The article has questioned what Akshay Kumar’s family and Kangana were doing in the military exercises. The then Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar had said that he was not the brand ambassador of International Fleet Review. No contract was signed with them but were called for the event.
