Outlandish Silence of Prime Minister over Sinking Economy: Chidambaram

Just after the return of jail on Bail, Former Finance Minister of India, P Chidambaram attacked strait on the PM-Modi regarding the present crunched situation of India Economy.

Earlier, on the issue of his bail, he urged some media personnel that the court did not find any evidence against me for ED’s petition of silencing eye witness to wipe out evidence.

Congress leader P Chidambaram alleged,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi was unusually silent on the state of the economy and left his ministers to “fool people and boast”.

The former Union Finance Minister said that the BJP government believes that even after seven months of this financial year, the economy of the problem is cyclical.


 Chidambaram remained in jail for 106 days and was released on bail recently.

 He said, “The government is astonishingly silent as if there is no such bad news on the issue of our Economic Condition.”

He further alleged the Prime Minister on his adamant characteristic for defending his own terrible mistakes like demonetization, flawed GST, tax terrorism.

  Chidambaram said,” the economy can be pulled out of lethargy but this government is unable to do so. ”
