The Shiv Sena, which parted ways after a dispute with the BJP over government formation in Maharashtra, will now sit in the opposition camp in Parliament. Rajya Sabha sources said that Shiv Sena MPs Sanjay Raut and Anil Desai will sit on the opposition benches in the winter session starting from Monday.

The Shiv Sena, which has approached a different route after a dispute with the BJP over government formation will now sit in the opposition camp in Parliament.
Rajya Sabha sources have informed that shiva Sena MPs Sanjay Raut and Anil Desai will sit on the opposition benches in the winter session starting from Monday. It is believed that 18th Lok Sabha MPs of Shiv Sena will also be seen in the opposition camp, which used to sit on benches of the ruling party earlier. On this, Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut also said that we have received information in the changed seating arrangement in Parliament.
At present, Shiv Sena is trying to form a government with the NCP and Congress in the state of Maharastra after the Shiva Sena –BJP ‘s alliance dispute. In regard to this, Raut said that this government of Maharastra will definitely run under the leadership of the Chief Minister of Shiv Sena.
The Shiv Sena has refused to attend the NDA parliamentary party meeting to be held on Sunday. Significantly, on Sunday, there is also the death anniversary of Balasaheb Thackeray, the founder of Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena, a BJP partner for nearly three decades, has made its way apart from the BJP after a dispute over the CM post in Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena led by Uddhav Thackeray has set a minimum common program for government formation with the NCP and Congress.. Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said that it is almost certain that no Shiv Sena MP will go to the NDA meeting on Sunday. The Shiv Sena has also been out of the central government since Arvind Samvat resigned as minister on November 11.
Congress-NCP wants Uddhav to become CM It is
As per the latest report, NCP and Congress agreed to form the government with Shiv Sena and both the parties want to see Udhab Thackeray as the Chief Minister of the coalition government in Maharashtra. Several sources revealed that both Congress and NCP have also categorically informed that Uddhav will be their Chief Minister in this coalition Maharastra Government leaving behind the BJP.
