Vetoes to Prohibit Diesel Autos from January : Gurugram

Gurugram administration has now moved to ban diesel autos amidst the ascending level of pollution. Additional Deputy Commissioner and Secretary of the Regional Transport Authority, Mohammad Imran Raza, conducted an official checking and on-road operation at various places in Gurugram to stop diesel autos.


The campaign was jointly carried out by the Regional Traffic Authority, Pollution Control Board and Traffic Police.

 Under this designed campaign, diesel auto drivers who are running their respective autos without appropriate permits and pollution-free certificates  were heavily fined in the district of Gurugram and also stringent action was taken to seize the 10-year-old diesel autos.

Mohammad Imran Raza informed that an action plan has been prepared in the district to stop diesel autos from 1st January 2020 and all other related initiatives have been started by the district administration to implement all the possible ideas to stop pollution and  to make Gurugram free from pollution ridden situation.

However, earlier, the Supreme Court has already issued an order to stop these autos
