Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan has paid loan of more on behalf of two thousand farmers in Bihar.
Amitabh urged in his blog, “A promise was made which was fulfilled. In Bihar, there were many farmers in Bihar whose debt was outstanding, 2100 farmers were selected among all for whom I had to pay the outstanding debts. Even to some of them, Shweta and Abhishek gave money in their hands. “
Amitabh had earlier written that ‘this is a gift for those who are facing the inability to pay the debt. They are now from the state of Bihar.
This is not the first time Amitabh has come forward to help the farmers. Last year, he had paid a loan of more than a thousand farmers in Uttar Pradesh.
The 76-year-old actor also wrote that ‘an another promise is yet to be fulfilled’.
He mentioned in his blog that he would provide financial assistance to the families of brave soldiers and their wives who were martyred for the country in Pulwama.
