The recent pandemic has affected many lives in many ways. The government, the NGOs and other community-driven programmes have helped many people. But there are also many people whose issues have not been addressed for whatsoever reason.

In this connection, this book, BE THE GODFATHER OF YOUR RENTAL DEN  by Author Smita M Gupta, explains and contributes to people staying on rent (especially under these challenging times) to empower them to choose & design their property by themselves. Top Experts from nine brands (Nav Ratna), e.g., Asian Paints, Godrej, Wipro, Phoenix, La-z-boy, Chemould Art Gallery, Furniture & More, 5 Elements Landscape, MakeMeBuilder.com, have come forward. They added value in their respective field of expertise. The book also received appreciation from Veteran Actor Jeetendra Kapoor & Sanjay Dutt, MD  & CEO of Tata Realty & Infrastructure Ltd & Tata Housing Development Co. Ltd.

There have been many more appreciations pouring in since the book was released. To also specify, one of the book’s highlights is the foreword by Vineet Verma, MRICS, Executive Director & CEO of Brigade Hospitality.

Further, the book is written in an exclusive yet exciting manner. The sub-chapters are named as Scenes and the main chapters as Act! The language and the topics used in the chapters are very informative and interesting to read. The book, though, is a self-help styled book. How it is written is fascinating. There are interesting dialogues that happen between the people in the book that the author included as part of her journey.

Author Smita has coherently included her experiences with the topics she wants to share with the people.  The basic concepts of space, light and air in the rooms is explained intrinsically. Also, the science of Vaastu is presented in a scientific manner that talks more deliberately about air, light and space. Then comes the concept of Numerology, wherein this is primarily misinterpreted, but the science and idea behind it are described interestingly.

Coming to the book’s core theme helps people who wish to study, design, and decorate the light and space that augments life-energies. This is suitable for all the living spaces. Author Smita has shared her real-time experiences that have had all kinds of feelings.

Thus, the book is a comprehensive yet elaborative study of various sciences that deal with nature and its energies that help the artwork professionals and to-be-professionals.  Also, not to forget about the beautifully written prologue, beginning credits and the title! Ah! The book cover showing Smita on the big throne-kind of the chair is an apple in the eye!

I recommend this book to all those artwork – art direction professionals and everyone who wants to enhance their creative skills.
