Diwali gift to 50 lakh government employees! : DA Increased by 5 Percent

In this time of rapid sky rocketing inflation ,the Union Government has decided to increase the Dearness Allowance by 5 Percent of approximately 50 lakh Government employee across the country.

But in fact common men in India realize this as an economic inequality who are not included in the list of those 50 lakh government employee.

After the said declaration ,TAC’s(The Asian Chronicle ) Special Correspondent,Anjan Kumar Samal in an investigation found some shocking comments from the people in the national capital who are not government employees.

Mr.Subrat Pradhan, a private company employee urges,” Is not the inflation in recent time concerned to people other than the government employee.”

In this investigation when ,the TAC asked a rickshaw Puller Shivam ,he replies ,”now in this country only the government and Govt.’s employees are entitled to live under the inflation,but not a common man like me ,any daily waged labour or any other non government employees”.

In the meeting of the Union Cabinet on Wednesday, it was decided to increase the DA i.e. Dearness Allowance 5 percent. DA has increased from 12 percent to 17 percent.

50 lakh government employees will be benefited from this decision. At the same time, 62 lakh pensioners will also get the benefit.

Giving information about the decisions of the cabinet, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that it has been decided to increase dearness allowance by 5 percent. He told that earlier dearness allowance was increased by only 2-3 percent. This decision will cost the government Rs 16,000 crore.

The increased dearness allowance will be applicable from July 1.
