Team India has been announced for the T20 series against South Africa. It was decided ,declared and informed to all the selected players of the team to join the team in Mumbai at around 8.30 pm on last Thursday (August 29).

Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Jaspreet Bumrah have not found a place in the T20 team, while Hardik Pandya has returned back.
As per the Tour schedule ,India has to play three T20 matches against the South Africa team, while there will be three Test matches ahead. The Indian team for Test matches will be announced later on.
Earlier, Mahi was not part of the Indian team even on the West Indies tour. According to media reports, the team management has decided not to take his into the team, keeping in mind the T20 World Cup 2020.

When the BCCI tweeted about this announcement of the T20 team, retweeting it, many Twitter users, followers and fans of Mahi urged that without Dhoni, Team India is nothing.
