A major accident was averted at Mumbai’s Vashi railway station due to quick response of concerned Railway department. Actually, a local train going towards Panvel caught fire on Wednesday morning. After which the entire Vashi railway station was evacuated.
The local train was evacuated immediately after the train caught fire. With this, the entire Vashi railway station was evacuated.
The power supply of the railway station was also cut off before the fire could be extinguished. Thankfully, there were no casualties due to measures to overcome the accident immediately.
At the moment, the fire has been controlled, but due to this accident all trains on the line are running late. According to the information, someone threw the bag in the pantograph.
Due to which there was a short circuit and caught fire. Railway services were disrupted for 12 minutes due to the fire, but now the railway services are running smoothly.
