Union Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Shri DharmendraPradhan said that ONGC’s crude oil production has increased from 22.249 Million Metric Tonne (MMT) in 2016-17 to 22.305MMT in 2017-18 and natural gas production increased from 22.088 Billion Cubic Meter (BCM) in 2016-17 to 23.484BCM in2017-18. In a written reply in Rajya Sabha today, the minister said that ONGC pays all production linked levies such as royalty, cess, sale tax/GST as per terms of the contract and instructions issued by the Government.
