PM Modi is protecting Adani says Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday remarked that PM should order inquiry if Adani is not his friend after Narendra Modi’s speech  on the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address in Lok Sabha.

“It is clear that PM Modi is protecting Adani; this is a national security issue” Rahul Gandhi stated when speaking outside of Parliament. 

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, attacked on the Opposition on Wednesday, claiming that the millions of people’s faith in him served as a barrier that could not be overcome by insults and false accusations from his critics.

Targeting the opposition Modi said that ”But some people who are neck deep in frustration refuse to accept India’s growth story. They cannot see the achievements of 140 crore Indians,” .

”People trust in Modi not due to newspaper headlines or TV visuals but due to my years of dedication in the service of the people,” He added.

After three days of deadlock over the Hindenburg-Adani dispute, a contentious debate on the President’s speech took place in Parliament  Yesterday. Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, and other opposition lawmakers attacked the Govt  while bringing up the Adani-Hindenburg controversy during the debate. The prime minister claimed that the Opposition had spent the last nine years by making baseless allegations rather than offering helpful criticism. While BJP members praised the numerous efforts of the Modi administration, the opposition alleged that the governing party had not given crucial issues like inflation and unemployment enough attention.
