Former Union Minister and Indira Gandhi’s Personal Secretary R. K. Dhawan died on Monday evening at a private hospital. He was 81 years old. Sources close to the family said that Dhawan ,around 7 pm in the evening he took his last breathe in a Private Hospital.The Congress leader was admitted to the hospital last Tuesday due to increasing age problems.
Congress spokesman Randeep Surjewala tweeted, ” We offer of rich tribute to Congress senior leader R. K. Dhawan He will always be remembered for her allegiance, commitment and dedication to the principles of Congress Party. May the God give peace to his soul. ”
Dhawan not only mere served Congress party as the General Secretary ,Senior CWC Member and a Rajya Sabha Member but also he was the most close to the Gandhi family as the Personal Secretary and also as the permanent invitee of Congress Working Committee(CWC)
